This whole chapter was talking about leadership. When looking at life you can see that people use leadership daily. You can be one of those people who let other people lead them or you can stand up and show your leadership skills.
When I work I have to use my leadership skills to teach other people how to do certain parts of their job. I would say that if I was not a leadership person then I do not think that I could be doing the job I am. I have to teach people daily about how to talk to others and how to interact with others.
I think that people take advantage of their leaders because they do not want to do the job. Leaders do need to learn to stand up to themselves.

I believe motivation is the key to success. It does not matter if an individual is leading a small group or a large group of people, the important thing here is that, the leader recognizes their own flaws and own talent to lead. I also think leadership comes with a price because he/she needs to be on top of the game in order to manage or transfer information to the followers. The two primary ideas that I agree are the communication between leader and employees and giving feedback to the employees of their performance. It's like turning in a term-paper and the student has no idea if they get a passing grade or not if the leader is not responsive or communicate with the employees.
ReplyDeleteI sure do agree that when looking at life, we see people using leadership skills everyday. It is one thing to have the title of manager, supervisor or team leader, but it is another thing to have motivation as an individual, much more when holding a position, don't you think?
